Welcome to the fall edition of Henry Ford College’s CareerFocus magazine. I warmly welcome all of our students – new and returning – as well as faculty, staff, administrators, and friends of HFC. I hope everyone had a relaxing, productive summer and is ready to meet the challenges of the fall semester.
Students have been defining their future through HFC’s market-responsive programs for nearly 80 years. HFC is one of southeast Michigan’s most affordable colleges – you can save approximately $32,000 by taking classes here.
And there are many programs from which you can choose. With more than 120 associate degree programs and certificate options, a bachelor’s degree program in Culinary Arts, a tuition-freeze guarantee, a university center, and exceptional transfer resources available, wherever you want to go, you can get there from HFC.
In recent months, I’m proud to say that our first four students graduated with their bachelor’s degrees in Culinary Arts – a historic first for HFC! This summer, the College signed an articulation agreement with Wayne State University, centering around our Telecommunication program.
These achievements reiterate that HFC is a FutureDriven educational institution. They are also a testament to the dedicated faculty who work tirelessly to ensure that our students receive the best education possible during their time at HFC. I want to extend my deepest thanks to our community for all of your support. Best wishes for a successful fall semester. I’m looking forward to seeing each and every one of you on campus!
Great things ahead!
Sincerely,
Stanley E. Jensen, Ph.D. President Henry Ford College
